Kouki & Atsumu: How the Dragon Met the Wolf

Kouki Amane starts his second year of high school braced for another year of being feared, his gentle heart hidden behind a delinquent's glare. Everything shifts when he collides with Atsumu Takeda, the tiny, furious "Lone Wolf," who punches him on sight and later breaks into his apartment with a wooden sword, demanding silence about a secret. Kouki has discovered Atsumu's love letter for his own best friend, Haruki, while Atsumu knows Kouki is pining for his friend Minako. Instead of fighting, Kouki feeds the trembling wolf, and by night's end the two strike a fragile alliance: help each other win their crushes. But as Atsumu leaves, Kouki quietly thinks that in old stories, dragons and wolves are equals, and maybe, just maybe, they do not have to be alone. Neither realizes the person they have been searching for may already be sitting across the table.
